Tiger 3’s box office earnings Day 1: Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, has had a fantastic first day of box office receipts. The spy thriller, directed by Maneesh Sharma, was released on Diwali. It made ₹44.5 crore in revenue on its first day in India, according to a report on sacnilk.com.

Along with characters like War and Pathaan, Tiger 3 is the third entry in the Tiger franchise and a part of the YRF Spy Universe. In addition to Salman and Katrina, the main antagonist in the movie is Emraan Hashmi. Hrithik Roshan as Kabir and Shah Rukh as Pathaan both make brief cameos in it.
Salman’s biggest opening weekend gross to date was ₹42.30 crore for Bharat, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, and ₹40.35 crore for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, directed by Sooraj Barjatya, which also came out on Diwali. Similarly, it is Katrina’s third-highest opening after Bharat with Salman Khan and Vijay Krishna Acharya’s Thugs of Hindostan (2018), at ₹52.25 crore.

The movie made about ₹44.5 crore on its opening day in all languages, according to the portal. On Sunday, the film’s overall Hindi occupancy rate was 41.33 percent. “Tiger 3 tomorrow advance is low considering big movie and festival holiday,” the portal also tweeted. Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, at ₹32.10 crore, has the highest second-day advance booking of this year, followed by Jawan, at ₹21.62 crore. It has made ₹17.48 crore from advance bookings for its second day, placing it in third place on the list as of right now.
Celebrating Tiger’s release, Katrina Kaif took to her Instagram handle and posted the reviews of the film. She simply wrote, “Thank you (heart emoji) Tiger 3 in cinemas now! Book your tickets…”
